This is a neat little park where you can take your lunch and get away from the hustle of the fast food places. Well maintained with lots of covered tables. Also a paved walking path around the park.

We live nearby and have visited dozens of times. There's lots of open space to toss a frisbee/football/whatever. Also a nice playground, despite what the naysayers claim. The park is encircled by a paved walking/biking path. There's a creek with ducks and other wildlife, and...More

This is nice area for kids to run and play. It does have picnic areas and a walking path. The play equipment is limited, but lots of open space for catch, kites, or just running around. If your kids are into Pokémon, they will be...More

Visited this 'park' to geocache. No playground in sight; no restrooms; no picnic pavilion. One trail that winds through woods - breaks off in many places. Trails wrap back around. Peaceful.

The walking trail is basicaly an old four track driving pathway. The land is flat and works along the Eastern edge of the Grand River. There are very few improvements or family friendly features. It's a good place for a two mile hike, but don't...More

This lovely wooded park stretches along the east side of the Grand river, with great views of the river. And a nice network of trails. Lovely park, year round.

I was visiting Grand Rapids and looking for a close place to Cross Country ski. This park is listed on a Michigan.org website as a potential place for Nordic skiing. I got there and discovered that the tracks from previous skiers were trampled by hikers...More

beautiful setting, watching the fishermen. Small park along Grand River, frequented for lunch "breakers" from neighboring offices but other than that sometimes very mixed crowd

I like this park any time of the year. It floods when the grand river gets too high and its pretty muddy when tbe slow melts, but the fall is gorgeous. The summer hosts lots of birds and other little critters and blooms.

This park is rustic but extremely enjoyable. Trails meander through varied scenery, including the Grand River. It has several outlooks and trails along the river. When conditions are right, cross country skiing is excellent, though the terrain, being along the river, is relatively flat. See...More
