We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this museum. We really enjoyed the log house & Victorian house replicas.

Small but great displays from the Indians forward. Learned a lot of history of both the people and development of the area along the lake. There is an elevator if needed.

The museum always has great exhibits, new and permanent. The permanent exhibits are my favorite, with the history of Michigan, and of west Michigan. Great for everyone, including kids. And it's in Grand Haven, a fun resort town on Lake Michigan/Grand River.

Really enjoyed our trip through this free museum. Particularly the Victorian home with four actual rooms that were furnished. Historical information was presented in very interesting ways.
