There's a small train permanently parked here that can be interesting to spend a few minutes to look at and walk around. During some days, there is a Farmer's Market adjacent to it.

We were visiting the Farmers Market nearby and saw this area and it was just for viewing and there were posted informations about the history of Pere Marquette.

Parking close to the beach, so less distance to lug all your beach gear. Great family place to hang out, enjoy the waves, build in the sand or just walk on the beach.

This is an outdoor exihibit that gives you some history of the area train industy. Also has some picnic tables and some tables you can bring your chess set
