If you decide on just one activity while in TC, do this one. It’s a trail just south of sleeping bear dunes. The trail is 3/4 of a mile in length (1.5 miles round trip) and hilly. It’s not that steep but if you are...More

A semi-strenuous hike with an amazing view at the top. Mostly shaded with several sections of steps.

This trail was a great trail with fantastic views but I would not call it easy. It is very hilly and in places the trail is very uneven and impassable if you are handicapped due to the erosion of the trail. If you are out...More

We enjoyed our hike here, right after visiting the Visitor Center in Empire. It took us an hour total - 25 minutes out, 15 minutes soaking in the views, 20 minutes back. My 80-year-old mother did not make it past the first few hundred yards,...More

Follow the signs from Empire town to the trailhead. You will be driving uphill. There is parking that quickly gets filled as this is a popular trail, but you can park along the road too. Pit toilet is at trail head. The hike is 1.5...More
