An easy little detour while driving north from Traverse City to Charlevoix. Woods are pretty through to the beach and sculptures are interesting. Try to guess their names as you see them before getting to them - highly likely you will not succeed.

And it's a nice day and you want to be close to the water give this a shot. Free. If you are having trouble finding it use the Twisted Fish Gallery address to at least get you in the area. Walk of Art is located...More

I would have enjoyed looking at more of the art, but my teens were not into it. They wanted to just see the sculptures we ran into on the way to the beach. I’d go back—a nice fall day would be a perfect time to...More

What a beautiful place for an art trail. Quiet, peaceful, well groomed trails, with a map telling where to find the art. Then you can enjoy some time at the beach when you finish.

We walked here from the marina. It was a long walk but worth it. The trail is mostly in the shady hardwoods with a few spurs to the beach, so easy to walk. We brought our dog and enjoyed the large sculptures.

Did not like that you can't park by the picnic covered area! You have to carry all your stuff all the way over there. The bathrooms are very old and had only 1 of the ladies toilet open the other ones had a sign that...More

You can snowshoe if there is enough natural snow that makes it way through the trees.
