We bussed to Durand with 50 men & women to tour the station and museum. We also had a quilt truck show for the ladies. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the history, the great photos and efforts of the staff.

The bbq is really great. Many choices and the prices are good. I usually get the switchman meal You get 2 side and 3 choices of meat. I usually get the quarter ribs, pulled pork and brisqet. You walk away full.

A neat pit stop if you like history or are interested in railroad history. A few historical things to see, fun to watch the AmTrak & other rails passing through. Also a great priced venue for events!

It was along our route so stopping here was not out of our way. If you have been to many local tourist railroads and train exhibits you will probably be disappointed if you go out of your way to stop here, there's not that much...More

There was nothing extraordinary about the Durand Union Station, it was clean and apparently closed and locked up until people arrived to be boarded on the train. I would like to advise everyone that the GPS device my ride was using did not take us...More

Hi Willie, just got this from ten days ago. A friend dropped me off at the station but I did see a lot with cars in it in front. Not sure there was a fee to park there as it didn't look guarded and it wasn't fenced in... More
