This old train station brings back many memories of me traveling with my mother and sibling to Alabama to visit my grandmother. I am glad Ford bought it to refurbish. I am on the wait list to see it for the last time. Hope I...More

The site is being renovated, so not only is there no access to the station, but there is a horrid wire fence all the way round with heavy machinery in the way of getting a good photo. I was immensely disappointed on the one hand,...More

We were lucky enough to tour this once grand structure, this past weekend. I have long hoped someone would buy this building and restore it to it's former glory. Thankfully, Ford Motor Co. is going to do just that. While, it is now in a...More

Nice idea from Ford to open central station before renovation. Interesting and impressive architecture.

So excited to have been able to tour this place! It's such an important piece of Detroit's history. The outside is so beautiful, however the inside will need tons of work to restore it. So much graffiti (and not the good kind) which is expected...More

Not much to see or do here. Pretty building, especially from a distance. Some great places to eat nearby (Slows!) otherwise not a lot to see/do here

We stopped by here on a cold Sunday morning, and I was surprised to find other tourists there taking photos, too. There's barbed wired around the place, but tidy little topiaries inside. The whole building is a study in contrasts - beautiful architecture crumbling to...More

What a beauty this building must have been in its glory days .... Now boarded and fenced up, left to decay. Worth a quick visit to take in it's amazing architecture. Hopefully this building can be saved and restored to its original grandeur, would love...More

We drove by there yesterday. It is surrounded by a barbed wire fence, so I guess the urban explorers are all but locked out. The Moroun family has done a fabulous job replacing windows, and getting electricity hooked up (the building is actually illuminated at...More
