This is a very nice monument in Campus Martius Park. It is surrounded by busy streets. If you can get up close it is worthwhile.

It's huge and beautiful, although hard to park to fully enjoy its splendor. It's about midway of the roundabout at Woodward right past Michigan Ave (you fork left instead of onto Fort St which is to the right).

It's an often overlooked monument and used a meeting spot for Campus Martius Park. It's one of the better Civil War Monuments
