Could not believe all the great things that are happening in downtown Detroit. I drove through downtown about 8 years ago and the entire downtown seemed to be boarded up - NOT ANY MORE. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't...More

Just like any city, be alert and smart. Leave valuables at home. I don’t wear any jewelry and use a crossbody bag with very little inside. The city is trying but they have a long way to go. Don’t walk off the populated paths and...More

It is small, but there few interesting spots. Some good restaurants. We went to Detroit for Car Show and we pleasantly surprised with some decorations and lightening. Downtown is not enough reason to visit this place. I would not call it tourist attraction.

There are still a lot of empty buildings in downtown Detroit, but there are also a lot of really cool spots, hidden gems down along Woodward Ave, high quality restaurants, museums and some galleries. Plus the Fox Theater, Comerica Park, Ford Field and more. It's...More
