Visited U2 show and walked around the show, loved the beautiful downtown with Jazz Festival happening with Sunday free parking. The only thing you could improve to have better signs how to get to Canadian boarder.

There are plenty of things to see in Detroit, but it's not laid out and populated like more thriving areas. Cherry pick what you want to see and plan your journey. Parking will be terrible and traffic isn't great.

not living in the city, it's hard to get enough time walking around down there checking things out. There's so much to do and see in the city.

We visited for the U2 concert and downtown and it was hopping late at night. There were less pain handlers than in years past and more security. The night life is pretty good. Our concert ended at 11:30, so we were ready for hotel.

Have not been downtown for a number of years and was surprised as to what is available near the river - parks and concert venues.

We were so thrilled to see Detroit being cleaned up. There was a lot of construction while we were there, but we didn't mind, b/c Detroit needs the improvements. We were fortunate to be there during the Dream Cruise, and it was a thrill! Everybody...More

It is a business place with very little things to do. We went with the People mover all around for 75cents per person but there is no shop you can go and buy something. Hope this will change. We enjoyed going to Canada, 3 minutes...More
