Anyone who is downtown visiting Detroit, must stop by the Guardian Building, especially if they like Art Deco. The mosiac tile is amazing. A real architectural treat.

This building has some cool architecture inside and out; was not able to do the guided tour but did visually see some awesome and odd features! The facility is free to enter and explore and photograph!

The building is impressive on the outside but the real wonders are inside in the lobby and nave. beautiful glass work, tile frescoes and stone work. Lush.

No there are 3 tours a day on the weekends. However, if there is a wedding or function the last one is usually cancelled.
