Walking to the casino, we stumbled upon Monroe street. Fun vibe in the street, Motown music taking the stage. Had a great time.

We walked the streets, including stopping in to the casino just to look around. As we are not gambling folk, it did not hold our interest. I've eaten at two restaurants in Greektown, however and enjoyed both.

Looking for a good place for lunch often brings us to Greektown. The restaurants and bakeries are exceptional. We settled on Pizza Popolus - the wings and fries and pizza were great.

Greektown is bright lights and exciting area. With great dinning places and 3 area casinos. Near the Tiger Stadium, Lion Stadium and soon The Detroit Pistons. A few blocks from our Riverwalk. Greek, American, Italian, many other various.

Definitely Pegasus. Fishbones isn't greek and it's food you can get anywhere in America. Save room for dessert at Astoria bakery - it's phenomenal!
