Took the family to see the erosion along the shoreline. A lot has changed since summer. You no longer can walk south along the shoreline as the waves have taken much of the sand to the tree line. Staircase was fine but little area to...More

I have mixed feelings on this beech. It was extremely close to where we stayed, but we avoided it until the last day because we were told it was dirty and not much beach left. The beach area is not that big, you can walk...More

There isn't much beach because of erosion, but there's a park and a nice view. However, the beach is not handicap-accessible.

Loved Hagar Park and the clean quiet beach strip. It’s a tiny beach, but a great place to avoid crowds and enjoy a day on the lake.

We first visited in 2002 and fell in love with this area, visiting almost yearly; It felt like our own little private beach. For whatever reason, we hadn't been back in probably 5 years, our last visit being in 2015 and things have definitely changed....More

We've been going to Hagar Shores for three years, and every year the conditions have gotten worse. The best part about it is the non-freezing water and usually low crowds. However, there are many flights of stairs down to the beach which may be physically...More

This beach is great when nobody is there. However, when there are crowds, one may get a bit claustrophobic on this small, private beach. Even though the water feels great, the sand is polluted with old cigars and other garbage. Beware: Smoking and pets are...More

A small non-populated stretch of beach good for a quick hike. There's also a children's park with Johnny on the spot but no other amenities. Nice quiet.

Visited this nice location many years, first with our Golden retriever that passed away, and now with our current fur baby. He loves the water, great location, polite dog owners. Surprised that the beach is more under water this year, due to record snow fall....More
