There are many, many things to love about this campground! We will definitely be back. Start gazing in this dark sky preserve was great, even with some cloud cover. Sites are gargantuan and fairly private via thickets of trees and shrubs. The trails around the...More

I want to love Lake Hudson. It has everything to spend a nice weekend and I was loving it the first day we were there. But I realized the cost saving initiative of not having full time people at the park puts you into the...More

Lake Hudson State Park is a beautiful spot, relaxing and I would come back. The campsites are large private. There are massive hedges of shrubs, small trees and branches, separating each site so you can't see your neighbor. The sites are also off-set so you...More

A hidden gem! Although the skeeters are thick, this is a beautiful park. No facilities, other than pit toilets & electric at the campsites. This is one of Michigan's "Dark Sky Parks" and is open 24/7. Would be a great park for star gazing. Although...More
