So many soldier lost their lives so far away from their homelands. A moving and somber experience. So many cemeteries are scattered around this area. RIP.

As with all of the cemeteries of the First World War this is a thoughtful place to think about all of the people that died in this war. Magnificently kept by the CWGC.

Beautiful cemetery in the depth of Caterpillar Valley. This place has seen some fierce fighting during the Somme campaign. Information found in the registers present at all CWGC sites teaches you about what happend in that specific location.

A vast yet beautiful WWI cemetery. A 'must visit' for any tour of the Somme battlefields. This palce gives one an idea of the extent of the human price paid in the "Great War'.

So many lives lost and so far from home. Like many other war cemeteries poignant and sobering. Not much car parking outside

A sobering experience that was well worth the visit off the beaten track. Rows of well maintained headstones mark the graves of British and allied soldiers who died on the western front in WWI, many of whom are unknown. This site is a great reminder...More

Quiet spot for reflection. Well presented and moving. Information board gave facts on the memorial and a brief history of the battle at this point.
