We walked quite a ways to get to the park as parking around there is a challenge. Arriving about 3 hours ahead of the fireworks was no problem. The grassy area was pleasant, there was a nice sidewalk along the river and there is a...More

I was surprised to read some of the reviews. We thought this was a beautiful park. Very quiet and serene. It is well kept with lots of places to sit down and take in the scenery. We weren't there during a big festival, so maybe...More

Would have helped to allow the golf cart drivers to transport a person with mobility restrictions....More

Tall Ships Festival combined with Winonah park across the river -- Vets park very crowded, waits to boards each ship probably 45 min to 1 1/2 hrs per ship per people waiting in line. Which is better than on the other side. We did not...More

Nice place to go and enjoy a view of the Saginaw river. However, when there are multiple events going on at the same time, there appears to be zero coordination between those events. Recently River Roar and Weird Al concert were the same weekend but...More

The park has had a few setbacks in recent years. One of the larger play areas for children had to be removed. There are also no Grills for cooking.
