We took the ferry from woods hole to oak bluffs. It was a pleasant 45 min ride. There are bathrooms on board and you can sit in side or outside. There's an elevator or stairs to get up to the top deck. The elevator is...More

We (my husband and son) cycled to Woods Hole, took the ferry and arrived in Vineyard Haven and cycle to Edgartown. Gorgeous place, gorgeous people! Left from Oaks Bluff back. All the ferries were on time, staff on ferries were exceptional! Really lovely way to...More

Allow plenty of time for parking (at least an hour) since parking is a problem. Getting there an hour early gave us enough time to go to another lot when the closest lot was full. I was glad they provided us a map to the...More

With all the recent problems, one would think they wouldn’t want to drive people away with unhelpful and rude parking attendants. The shuttle drivers and ferry staff are great but if you have a parking alternative for Woods Hole, use it. Today the website was...More

The ferry ride to Martha’s Vineyard is reasonably priced and a pleasant experience. My only complaint is the parking cost. I had to park miles away because the closer lot was full and be shuttled and still had to pay$15 for the pleasure.

It was easy to find but you do need to park the car down the road 1-2 miles at the parking area for the ferry and they will shuttle you back to the port. Easy access with bicycles and smooth ride with great views. We...More

Great ferry, offers food and drinks (although I’d allow extra time before boarding to go to Pie In The Sky Bakery just up the hill-worth it). I only gave it 4 stars because it was too cold to sit out on the deck, so there...More
