Lovely small lake on the Wellesley College Campus. Beautiful trail around the lake with benches for sitting and reflecting. Good for kayaks, canoes, and small sailboats.

The walk around Lake Waban takes about an hour and is really lovely. It is a bit difficult to find the trail but if you enter the Wellesley College campus from Route 16, park in the first parking lot on the right and then walk...More

We have been to Lake Waban many many times, since our daughter is a student at Wellesley. It is such a beautiful lake with so many special little spots around it. And so many people from town walk their dogs there!

Wellesley...if you live here it is just a hop and a skip to enjoy nature in its glory. No matter what the season, this 45 min. if you walk fast, is the most enjoyable thing you can do for yourself.

Woodsy trail around the lake and through the Wellesley College Campus. You always certain to see someone on the trail. Its 2.5 miles or so. Great for an afternoon stroll.

A lovely easy flat walk around Lake Waban surrounded by the beautiful architecture of Wellesley College and woodlands. Not perfect for the elderly or toddlers as there are exposed tree roots and rocks in the woods, but it is rarely much of an incline or...More

We've always enjoyed this walk, but it's not the way it used to be. One previous reviewer wrote "so much better than Walden Pond!" Yea. Has anyone been to Walden lately? There is no shrubbery or vegetation along the pond shore -- it's been scoured...More
