Been going to Sandy Burr for years now. They used to have some water issues on a couple of the holes on the back nine but they seem to have sorted that out now. Nice varied terrains especially for a smaller track. They also run...More

Recently played here in a charity event, but have also played here many other times. There are several sets of tees to accommodate all levels of play. There are several drastic elevation changes both to your advantage and against you...but it evens out. Have always...More

We had a great time at my son's wedding and the wedding planner whose name was Debbie was extremely helpful and move things along as much as she could considering that my son found picture taking to be more important than any other part of...More

Great Ross layout with 14 original greens. Holes 4, 5, and 6 are a true test of golf, but very fair. New superintendent is doing a great job getting the course in shape. Staff (especially Ben and John) made my wife and I feel right...More

Pretty good golf course in the area. A little pricey for what you get. Sometimes it moves pretty slowly and they don't really move it along.

I was shocked when I saw the interior of Sandy Burr. It looks like a throw back to the 1950s and has never been updated. I know nothing about the course but assume it's fine since it is heavily used. It is not a luxurious...More

If you're looking to practice or don't want to worry about where your ball goes, go to Wayland Country Club. There's 8 or so fairways parallel to each other, it's relatively flat, and you can't get into too much trouble. It's a "nice" place to...More

The Sandy Burr is a beautiful, way tended golf course. The staff is friendly and professional, the holes offer plenty of challenge but are not so difficult as to frustrate all but the best golfers. I will note that the women's tees do give quite...More
