Commercial street during Carnival is a fantastic place to walk. It's fun seeing everyone dressed up in their costumes. There are families of all ages and nationalities. It's wonderful that you can walk down the street and not be bothered by too many cars. Everyone...More

This is the main Street with various shops and restaurants. Lots of bar & grills, few clothing shops. Very narrow street where cars have to avoid and drive around meandering people in the streets.

We found it very entertaining walking up & down commercial street you see all sorts of people enjoying themselves and going about their own business. We only say it in daylight but they say to see it in it's glory you must go after dark.

The street goes through the city. Here we found so many restaurants, cafe's and different shops. The street was packed with pe the whole carnival week.

It was fun UNLESS it's 100 degrees, sunny and crowded then it's just HOT!!! There is a really cool used book store. Don't forget to walk farther down to the quieter end of the street to see the galleries.

Although there are many shops here, the quality of the items sold was a bit of a surprise. Not many unique items and a lot of junky things. Thought we would see more consignment artist goods and crafts. Very few shops worth a second visit,...More

Thank you all for the response. I found the Pier parking lot and Grace Hall parking lot as well. As some of you mentioned to get there early, I am trying to be there by 10am. I hope I will get parking at the pier.
