Easily accessible by foot from central Plymouth, this attractive and historic street is an important part of the 'Pilgrim Story'. Although none of the actual houses date to the first settlement, it seems that they occupy the plots of that early community.

A short walk through history. There are many plaques with the dates of when the original buildings were constructed. The same names crop up at several houses.

just very cool to walk down this street knowing this was an area where the pilgrims first started to settle. some of the houses date back into the 1700s and one late 1600s....very cool...a must see!

This street was created in 1620 by the Pilgrims and is claimed to be the oldest street in the original 13 colonies. The first Thanksgiving was held very nearby. The first house was built in 1621. This is an easy walk from Plymouth along Water...More
