Travelled this road a lot - views are wonderful, and I loved the fact that the traffic was slow & easy(mind you I was there in October). A pleasant break from highway traffic!

Do take this route at least one time to see the famous sights (beaches/bridge) and to enjoy the panoramic views and fresh ocean air. Great alternate route to inland travel between these two very different communities of Edgartown (stately, traditional, classic) and Oak Bluffs (colorful,...More

A pleasant drive with good views. Very sensibly the bike path is separate so safe for drivers and bikers.

We ride the public bus around the island and took in the scenery. We passed the beautiful beaches, lagoon area and the jaws bridge.

A fabulous route especially as most of it has a separate cycle path so even novice cyclists can feel save. Mainly flat with a few inclines but with the sun shining and a gentle breeze on your face its a totally enjoyable cycle for Oak...More

We biked this route and it was great. Separate path so no cars. Takes you over the bridge everyone is not supposed to jump off (but everyone does). LOTS of free parking on the road (unlike in Falmouth) if you bring your car.

I wanted to write this review because I had a hard time finding first hand information about this bike route from someone with children. We wanted to visit MV and bike ride, but I was concerned about car traffic and safety. We took the ferry...More

Beach Road between Oak Bluffs and Edgartown: This stunning six-mile, paved trail travels along the Nantucket Sound on one side and the 7-acre Sengekontacket Pond on the other, and is entirely flat. It’s definitely one of the most popular trails on the Island because of...More
