Enjoyed touring beautifully decorated, beautiful homes. Many tasty food and drink options in town. Liked that Museum sponsored the event/raised funds. Stayed at lovely Compass Rose B&B.

So I love history, so thought this would be a good stop. The place is little underwhelming. The displays are mediocre. The upstairs is HOT in the summer. Interesting architecture though.

This is a great maritime museum. Found more information during our family search trip, & helpful docents added information to our places to search.

Its a very small museum so about an hour should be enough. Try to meet the Executive Director Michael Mroz.
