Every summer, we make it a point to visit Hopkinton State Park for some swimming at the lower lake. It's a kid-friendly freshwater lake with beach and a large, roped-off swimming section at about 7 feet in depth. Lifeguards (3 stations) are on-duty from 11am...More

My grandson took sailing lessons. Three types of boats. I loved watching the boats. We also like to swim. The water is tested for safety. They also have daytime lifeguards.

This is a great place to spend the day with the family. We went hiking and also had a great time riding kayaks. We saw nice spots for fishing, swimming and grilling, but ran out of time. We'll definitely be back!

In the summer months, boat rentals are so much fun. The prices are reasonable for two people to split and it can be relaxing, a good work out, or a combination. Lots of good walking trails. Big sledding hill for the winter.
