This statue is near the Fisherman Statue. Sit on a bench and enjoy the view. The life size statue tells of the struggle for fishermen families and how they looked toward the sea for their returning husbands.

Along the same waterfront , this is a stunning monument to the wives and children left behind when there husbands, fathers did not return from the sea.

Very lovely tribute with memorial brick pavers and a lovely garden area. The walkway along the harbor is gorgeous!

To those who wait and worry. this stirring statue looks out over the harbor waiting for loved ones to return. A great feature to the waterfront promenade.

Just down the waterfront walk from the Fisherman's Memorial is this Memorial that the vessel Captains memorialize those who wait on shore. It is excellent

Gloucester has much to offer! Be sure to stop at this emotionally moving memorial as you walk the shore on Main street!

In memories of the fishermens wives and children who are looking to the sea as their loveones go oug for fishing and only comeback when the ship are full of fish. Normally rest for five days only.
