Hands on history, relax & go at your own pace.

This place is really neat. And the best part about it is you get to go on the battleship & submarine. You walk around at your own pace.

As a nearby resident I finally visited Battleship Cove. It was an interesting visit and we spend several hours there touring the various ships on display. They are impressive and jam packed with info and artifacts. We enjoyed this afternoon and my husband wants to go back.

We went here on a nice Spring day and had a good time exploring the ships and submarine. It was not crowded and we were able to get through the museum in a couple of hours which was about as much attention span as my 9 year old daughter had. Worth the visit!

Wasn't sure what to expect but visiting battleship cove was great. We had 3 kids with us ages 8, 9, and 10 and they all loved it. The kids loved being able to go inside the ships and see what life might have actually been like for the soldiers. Definitely worth seeing. I only wish there had been an option... More

You have no idea what the was must have been like for Naval forces until you see this ship. It is so huge as to diminish a person. Going through the decks and seeing where life continued is a humbling experience. Do go.

We took our 12-year-old grandson for a birthday treat, and he absolutely loved exploring the battleships and submarine. We spent all morning there, and probably could have spent another hour if we'd had time. Be prepared for lots of climbing up and down stairs!

This place should be a must-see for every American. The incredible ships here represent critical parts of our history and should be preserved, with their stories told over and over again -- because you could probably never run out. And they are interpreted, at their best, alone, without a guide, going through them at your own pace. To scamper through... More
