We did not tour the ships, but viewing them from the "boardwalk" was fine. Visitors center was nice as well as the surrounding memorials. We walked to Landings for dinner. Very nice place to grab a bite to eat and watch boats and people.

Battleship Cove is the home of five classes of Naval Vessels. Headed by the USS Massachusetts, a truly heroic Battleship, and followed by the USS Lionfish a Submarine, it takes at least a full day to climb all over these great historical ships. Wear sneakers...More

We took two smaller kids. They enjoyed exploring all the parts of the ships and submarines. We spent over 2 hours but I would recommend more time in order to really see everything. They offer food inside the USS Massachusetts as well as restrooms. We...More

Visitors center is across from ships. Plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, boardwalk, exhibits. We did not go onto the ships since it was close to closing time, but enjoyed the view from Visitors Center.

I never knew that the WWII sailors experienced such tough living conditions. What an education we received when we toured the ships at this museum. Everything was displayed just as it was during the war. I have an even greater respect and admiration than ever...More

Definitely worth a visit. But you will need a fair bit of time to get through the entire display. Tickets are valid for two days. If you got the tie to split the visit you could do that. I found the entire adventure interesting. So...More

I took my kids 11,10&7 and my father. It was a fascinating trip. We ran out of steam before we finished seeing the entire battleship. I highly recommend starting with the USS Massachusetts and working back to the smaller ships and do the PT boats...More

Yes we did it is on a large video screen and you overlook water as you watch it. It explodes in the water and shows the attack and a lot of narration. It last about 15 minutes. Historical.
