Had a beautiful night to hear Judy in concert. The acoustics were terrific, lovely breeze coming in the open windows and a very appreciative crowd. Only negative are the uncomfortable pew seats. But a small price to pay for a great show/venue.

If you can get a ticket, this is an experience you will want to have. The church is beautiful and the acoustics are great. It's a lovely way to spend an evening.

Note not open prior to Memorial Day weekend. We still enjoyed walking around and taking pictures. There is a historic home & gardens next door.

The Old Whaling Church is an imposing figure on the small town street but unless there is something going on and you have a ticket there is no need to poke around this place. Take a picture of the front and move on, trust me.

Originally the Edgartown Methodist Church, it is now home to a performing arts center. The church was build by Methodist whaling captains in the Greek Revival architectural style. It was constructed using the same techniques as those of whaling ships. In addition to functioning as...More

This church has been wonderfully preserved and is easily accessible from the street. Brings you back to days gone by. A must stop.
