We make it a point to visit Lucy Vincent once a year when non resides can get in. The amount of beach erosion was shocking and the area where the former cliff walk was, has disappeared even more. The pilar is still there, but for...More

Quiet and clean..scenic and majestic. We even saw seals occasionally. Love the bluffs above you as you’re swimming and sun bathing. Rocks galore..so pretty. Love this beach! Highly recommend.

Beautiful beach with great sand and water. Waves were variable depending on wind, but my kids were able to boogie board and jump in the waves most days. We stayed at Menemsha Inn so received a "walk on" pass with our stay. Since we were...More

We went once and kept going back. There was something for everyone -- waves for big kids, but not too big for little kids, beautiful sand, perfect vibe. A couple of tips: get there early. Before 11:00 if you can. That way you can definitely...More

This is a beach designated for Chilmark residents. We obtained our pass from the Beach Plum Inn. Not many reviews here due to the restrictions, but if you can obtain a pass, it's worth a few hours of relaxation. Beautiful rock formations, small cliff dunes,...More

So scenic and beautiful. Nice waves and sand. Lots of pretty stones and shells. Good spot for sunset pics or even a wedding.

Just a beautiful beach. Wide, soft sand, things to explore. The rock formations are amazing. It is resident only in season but available for all to explore off season. Worth a trip up to chilmark on a nice day

Our island beach for years. We tend to visit more off season. Carry in and carry out, only porta potties available and no concessions. Take an umbrella as there is no shade at all. Watch the weather reports for great waves for boogey boarding.

I'm not sure when the season begins or ends. We were there on for Memorial Day weekend, and we had no problem getting on. I'm thinking the beach season would be when they have lifeguards there, and I would think that most... More
