I would recommend Oyster Pond for families, especially with small children. It is a nice sized beach with a free parking lot attached to it. Great location right in the heart of Chatham.

It’s a lovely little beach. The parking is free which is unusual for cape cod. Restrooms are on site, as is a lifeguard. Swimming is safe. Popular with locals

This was a relatively small beach but enough to enjoy the sand and the view. Relax before you go back to shopping!

A great beach for families and young kids. Shallow, warm and calm. We went in the evening and it was a relaxing end to our day.

We like this beach for young kids - gentle waves, not too crowded, usually parking available, bathrooms! Pretty views too!
