So glad my wife and I got up early on our last day in Brewster to visit Breakwater Beach at low tide. We had so much beach to ourselves as we walked out over the large expanse of open beach. So much sea life left...More

Lovely place to enjoy the ocean air. Water was too cold to get in, plus there were shark warnings, but nice, nonetheless. Snack bar and restrooms available.

Great area to visit all the beaches are wonderful and you can walk quite far when the tide is out. We went to rock harbour which has a lot of history concerning the pier and again low tide is the best time to go.

Breakwater Beach has plenty of parking, but it's very small. The beachfront is huge, but most of it is private. Our kids had a great time walking out and playing on the flats at low tide.

One of 7 public town beaches in Brewster. Low tide walks on the Brewster flats are famous for discovery sea life, shells to collect and enjoying a cool breeze.

There's a small parking lot here, with LOADS of signs warning against parking without a town sticker - $30 fine - which I guess means for out of towners, it's a $30 daily parking fee. The beach area was unremarkable, but nice and quiet -...More

Very nice to take a walk along the beach watching the waves, it's about mile long. Parking is limited.

We went there in the morning when the tide was high and then came back mid-afternoon for low tide. We were blown away by how far the tide went out and how far you could walk!

Beautiful beach. Even though it was windy. We just sat by rocks and enjoyed the ocean sounds. We just walked and walked
