Stopped in at Breakwater Beach in Brewster on Cape Cod after a delish dinner at Big Dog's BBQ in Orleans on the second Friday in August with my best bud for food and fun on our way home back to Dennis Port. Was astounded to...More

We stopped by to check this beach out on a recommendation of a friend. It was low tide. It was sooooo cool to see the water so far out, all of the boats on moorings beached, and the little critters in the tide pools. What...More

Shoe-horned in between private beaches, this public beach is rarely crowded. But you get all the beauty of the Bay: sunsets to die for, flats in low tide which enable you to walk 100s of yards out. Views of sail boats and motor boats moored...More

Good beach. Sandwiched in between private beaches. Small and clean. We biked or walked there so can't comment on parking situation but it looked tight. Excellent location to view the tides.

OK, so none of the bay beaches will compare to East Coast ocean beaches from NJ to Fla. But they are interesting and unique at low tide, when you can walk out for hundreds of yards in ankle-deep water. Breakwater has one of the bigger...More

Lovely place to enjoy the ocean air. Water was too cold to get in, plus there were shark warnings, but nice, nonetheless. Snack bar and restrooms available.

Great area to visit all the beaches are wonderful and you can walk quite far when the tide is out. We went to rock harbour which has a lot of history concerning the pier and again low tide is the best time to go.

Breakwater Beach has plenty of parking, but it's very small. The beachfront is huge, but most of it is private. Our kids had a great time walking out and playing on the flats at low tide.
