Loved the concert 🤘, General Admission is the the way to go there. I parked at the Spring Cameron Garage (Garage 2), it's a short walk to the venue, I did long term parking it's $1 an hour (paid less than $4; free parking after 10pm), they use the Park Mobile app which was pretty convenient being that I had no quarters with me 😂. The cost of drinks...I gota Yeungling Flight, I believe it was a 20oz or 24oz can...as with most venues it's expensive...I paid $13 for 1 drink. Other than the cost to have a drink the venue is nice, go catch yourself a live show.

Attended this venue for the first time recently for Trap Karaoke. I had heard so much about this place because its the premiere venue in the area for small concerts. It is standing room only on the main level and I believe I saw some seating areas on the upper level. It has a bar and the drinks were good. The only down side was that it was extremely cold and the line was wrapped around the corner. It moved quicker than I expected. It is located in the heart of downtown Silver Spring and close to shopping and food.

This is a long overdue review. Sadly, I did not have a good experience here. I took my teen to see Ricky Montgomery, and the place was packed like sardines… similar to the subway at rush hour. When I bought the tickets, I figured that my teen would go up front, to be in the thick of things, and that I would stay in the back, where the crowds are usually less dense. However, this was not possible. If anything, the crowd seemed to get even denser in the back of the room. The room was not large enough for all of the people, so some of the patrons were spilling out into the lobby. The room was also extremely hot, and we could not purchase water because the concession booths were closed. Recognizing the situation, the staff stood at the front of the stage in between the opener and the main show, passing dixie cups of water through the crowds to people who raised their hands. We had brought bottles of water with us, but they were confiscated at entry, even though they were still sealed (so no possibility that we’d substituted another liquid in place of the water). It seems like a poor policy to prohibit people from bringing in water if you are not going to sell it inside. It wasn’t easy to get the dixie cup, and it wasn’t *enough* water even if you got one. I started to feel nauseous in the middle of the concert. I turned and tried to get to the lobby, but it was impossible to get through the crowd. In my youth, I went to clubs frequently, and I have never seen anything like this. Isn’t there a fire code that limits the # of people in the room? Surely it can’t allow a room to get to such a capacity that no one can exit due to the high density? I've read other reviews, so it seems like this is not *always* the case. I would be very hesitant to go there for another concert, at least if it was a popular group and there was reason to believe that it would be "sold out."

We bought tickets to see the opening band for a concert this past Tuesday. The line to get in was over three blocks long, and despite arriving early, we didn't get in until 45 minutes after the concert started. We totally missed the band we paid to see. There were still a ton of people behind us in line as well. We heard from someone at the show, the Filmore also opened their doors late. Not sure if they overbooked the venue (ground floor was at capacity and you couldn't move) but we were extremely upset that they didn't delay the opening band at all, particularly eaten the venue was at fault for not getting people in the door on time. We plan to contact our credit card company to see if we can get any money back for services not provided as promised.

COVID!!!!!!!!!
Great Venue... but the Covid policy states that you must be vaccinated or test negative within 72 hours. In the midst of a pandemic I am disappointed to report that this venue is NOT checking Vaccine status. No one asked, no one masked!
Low & behold, two days later I test positive.
BEWARE!!!!!!!

The venue is beautiful and staff is great.
Beside the concert tickets, I bought the VERTIGO LOUNGE upgrade (22$ more) thinking it was a special area where you could stand and watch the concert without people crowding you. BUT NO! The Vertigo Lounge is downstairs, near the bathrooms, so there no view to the stage. The lounge is basically an early access room, no other perks
I wasted 66$.

Great place to see a concert. It's clean, bars on both sides of the floor for ease of access to drinks. And you can see the stage from anywhere you are, no pillars in the way. Parking is also easy. Garages around downtown silver spring (free afterhours) only thing is that you will have a little bit of a walk (but not bad).

This place is great. The staff here (all of them) were some of the most pleasant people I’ve ever encountered at a concert. We had a guest who had some medical issues and they immediately accommodated and moved us to a section that was comfortable for our friend who had trouble standing. Everyone there is just top notch. It is a must visit and a good concert venue.

I love the Fillmore. Love the location, love the parking, love the upstairs bar, love the diverse musical acts, love the people. But most of all I love the upstairs seating! In my youth I would gladly have mingled/jumped/shouted/danced with the very energetic crowd on the main floor. The access to the stage, the people watching, the rhythm of the beat - all fantastic on the main level. But for me and my wife, upstairs is where it's at. Good view, great music, easy access bar, comfortable seats. See you upstairs!

Is there a place just for Ada concert goers?

If I have access to the Vertigo Lounge but also VIP line for early entry, which one gets let into the venue first? I want to be at the front!

Are you allowed to bring small posters for concerts? It’s for a meet and greet with an artist.

Not sure. I’d give them a call.

How kid-friendly/appropriate are the all-ages concerts here? My stepson is wanting to see Skillet, but he is only 7.

Can people the age of 13 go to a post malone concert? Can they go to any concert like other rappers that are similar to post malone?

How early should you line up to get close to the stage for the Slash concert???
Written August 17, 2018
If it starts at 8, you should be in line by 6 or 6:30. A good idea is to plan to be in the area by 4:30pm to find parking and to see how many people are in line already. There are plenty of bars or eateries in the area to check out.

How early should I get in line to get front row if I have general admission?
What entrance, also, do you wait at to get in for GA?
Written March 26, 2018
If you want to secure your spot in the front, you’ll have to arrive about 2 hours early. However, the place has great fans who would allow you ease to the front through the large crowd. Enjoy yourself!!!!!!
