We found the place online and decided to give it a try. We pulled up to a charming looking building. The location is perfect. We were met at the door by Cinnamon an old chocolate lab who is sweet natured and well behaved. Our tasting...More
My favorite winery (now with an expanded distillery as well) in the state. These are some of the best wines anywhere, and now with additional distilled offerings such as rye, bourbon and moonshine in addition to the traditional grappa and limoncello, a definite "must visit"...More
Our first stop on the Piedmont Tour, Wineries of Maryland. The winery itself is of course family owned and operated. The staff were gracious and knowledgeable hosts. The wine was delicious! The atmosphere relaxing and the views serene.

We did not tour the vineyards, and went straight to the tasting room. Both of the employees (or owners?) were enthusiastic and helpful not only about the wines but also about pointing out local attractions in the area. We tasted and bought a few wines...More
