Courses are fairly tough but fun. Average hitters need to play short off the tee on most par 5's. Maintenance is a problem and most players don't do their own repairs. Even with geese on the water holes it's still great fun if you enjoy...More

Very nice local golf course with 4 9 hole layouts. North-East is a links style course with open fairways, mounds and undulating greens. South-West is a traditional US layout, with tree lined fairways and plenty of hazards. Each course offers a different challenge. Good scores...More

Visited on a cold, windy day on late November, an impromptu game, we needed to rent right and left handed clubs, great staff, full service snack bar, well maintained and challenging course

A nice sized course, with good amount of greens scenery. Club house large with bar and restaurant area. Staff was nice and attentive as needed. Accessories available in sport shop good quality.

i read the reviews and wanted to give it a try this past weekend with friends from out of town. very happy with north and west courses layout and degree of difficulty. we're 15-18 handicappers and felt the course was challenging for our skill levels.

This place still needs a ton of work. I give this course a chance once every two to three years and every time I come back, it disappoints. We played the North East courses and started on the East. The fairways and tees were in...More

It could be a nice place but I hear from staff at other courses that Compass Pointe just doesn't get the financial support for maintenance that a county course needs. I have played there several times and it is my "if nothing else is available"...More

Look up dog track in the dictionary and you'll find...see compass point. The course was simply that badly conditioned. From the proshop to the driving range to the tee boxes to the greens everything just had an unkept appearance that influenced the attitude and service...More

After not playing at Compass Pointe for a couple of years, we returned recently and played the North-East course. While the fairways and greens were in good condition (thanks probably to all the rain we have gotten this Spring and now Summer), the traps continue...More

This was my first time playing this golf course, and it's safe to say I was underwhelmed. I had read mixed reviews the last few years, some of which mentioned specific or general renovations. When we paid and checked in with the starter, we were...More

North-East is a more links style course with open fairways and undulating greens. Less hazards, so this would be my choice.
