I decided to take a ride through pur local state park to check it out and was very happy I did. Very nice and scerene. Quite a few walking paths and a few animals. Will definitely go back.

Easy to put in. Plenty of parking which is free if you are retired military. No significant boat traffic because the water is pretty shallow there with more than a few rocks. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

I had the whole hiking trails and parking lot to myself. I hiked the red trail and the trail along the old train tracks down by the river. Good hike and lots of deer that I inadvertently snuck up on.

Went fishing here a few times with the grandkids. Plenty of area to hike, fish, and photography. Much to see here. We will be back many more times since we only live about 20 minutes away. I definitely recommend visiting this beautiful park right on...More

Never paid a fee to go there Is a fee if you want to use the boat ramp Retired military are free for that
