I saw over a dozen eagles flying and four that were sitting on the same branch panting from the heat. They were right next to the parking lot so perfect view of the 3 adults and 1 juvenile. Highly recommend this place.

The dam itself is fun to drive across and the roadway offers a good worm's-eye view of parts of the dam and hydropower station. There is also a wonderful visitor's center which runs a great circa one hour long video of the construction of the...More

Drive all the way to the dam itself. Parking is best there. If you park near the entrance, you stand a chance of the vultures pooping on your car and it's a long walk to the dam.
