While this might have been a nice trail in the path, much of it has eroded making it really challenging. Plus, it’s a pain to get to because you have to cross on private land to start and end the hike.

Definitely worth an hour or two. There is no parking near the walk; the nearest public parking (inexpensive) is at the Ferry Road beach, about 15 min walk to the start of the Cliff Walk. The entrance to the Cliff Walk is a little hard...More

Those rocks... They are just amazing how the water has formed them into amazing work of art. Worth walking over the cliff to admire the view/nature

People should know that although this walk is beautiful it is not an easy walk.there are many narrow parts and climbing over rocks. There are no rails on parts of the cliff. We enjoyed our walk but concurred that it was not easy

This was worth the 2 hour drive from Massachusetts:) We brought our mini poodle and he loved it! We parked at Ferry beach. It must not have been in season because there was no fee/parking attendant. It was about 3/4 mile walk to the entrance...More

Beautiful drive and coastal Landscape! You can walk miles in the beach around the point and take in the fresh, crisp air along with the amazing views! Highly recommend it!

Easy 1 mile walk/hike on coastal path. Beautiful views, walk starts by iconic Black Point Inn Pumphouse and weaves around the rocky coast of Prouts Neck in Scarborough, Maine. Only struggle is to find parking anywhere around this hiking path. Black Point Inn has few...More

Just like any exclusive part of the Maine coast, it takes some planning and knowledge of the area to make your visit unforgettable. Public parking on Prouts Neck proper is nonexistent so plan ahead. Cheapest: park at Ferry Beach (Scarborough NOT Ferry Beach State Park)...More

We started at Black Point Inn. The views were gorgeous and the path was not difficult but would be too much for anyone slightly unsteady on their feet. This is a walk that we will keep in our repertoire for future visits!

That's incorrect. There is not a convenient place to park. Parking is only allowed at the Blackpoint Inn if you are a guest. Otherwise it is a hike to park (and pay) at Ferry Beach and walk about a half mile to the entrance... More
