Maine's first state park! Cool in itself, plus all campsites are secluded and surrounded by trees. They have bathrooms and showers! There are trails nearby but I didn't go on any of them, just stayed the night and left. Ranger did say to leave all...More

Went fishing while on business in the area and caught some pretty big trout. It was only 10 minutes away from the hotel I was staying at. I would definitely visit here again!

Took visiting family for an afternoon, they hikes while I grilled up burgers on the park style grills. Bathrooms are clean and plenty of covered picnic areas with enough distance for privacy.

The regular paths are very nice for a quiet walk in the snow covered woods. To go on the various trails bring snowshoes. Very scenic and peaceful.
