This is a decent walk along the water. It's nothing special, and there isn't much shade on a hot, sunny day.

Fantastic views of Casco Bay, the old fort and the islands. You can sit and relax, bring a picnic lunch or read under the shade of the many beautifully maintained trees. You can also walk the trails, visit the beach, or walk down to the...More

The Prom Trail runs alongside the water starting from the end of Commercial past the railroad museum to a waterside park. Very relaxing way to spend an four or so with great views of the bay.

We took our little dog for a lovely walk on the paved trail. She enjoyed sniffing along the way. Saw several dogs playing on the beach with their owners. Such a pleasant day with views of the water and boats.

Very pleasant walk along water. Paths are very clear. Worth checking out. I was there during a weekday, so I imagine that a weekend might be more festive or communal.

This short trail begins just after the ferry line parking lot and goes for about 3/4 of a mile to the big bridge. You can join another loop that goes around a small city leg or just come home. Plenty of seating to take in...More
