For the views and the refreshing exercise, this trail is a sure thing. No problem finding parking to start your tour. Walk along for the views of Casco Bay, or do a larger loop and connect with the Back Cove. Also a small beach (East...More

This trail is paved, with unpaved paths running along side at different points. From it you can see many of the Casco Bay Islands. Other than in the winter, you will also see sailboats and other water craft. The path runs from Casco Bay Ferry...More

We took our little dog for a lovely walk on the paved trail. She enjoyed sniffing along the way. Saw several dogs playing on the beach with their owners. Such a pleasant day with views of the water and boats.

Very pleasant walk along water. Paths are very clear. Worth checking out. I was there during a weekday, so I imagine that a weekend might be more festive or communal.

The East Prom trail offered scenic views both from shoreside and the elevated trail network atop the promenade. The primary trail surface is a flat paved path, with several unpaved options through the prom's hillside.

We took a trolley tour that covered this area. Very scenic. There is limited parking available. The trolley was much easier. Definitely worth seeing if you are in Portland.

This was part of the half that my husband and I did. We did come back to really soak in the views instead of just running by. This is definitely worth a stop!

Late afternoon, rain from a steady drizzle to a light mist - welcome cool on a hot day, dramatic sky changing from moment to moment, so do the views of the harbor. I did a loop from the Portland Harbor Hotel, out the Eastern Promenade,...More
