We drove to Portland to visit the museum, but as other reviews mention it was closed. The website does not do a good job of showing hours. Maybe we will try again next time we are in the area. We thought our 3 1/2 year...More

This little museum is not very well known...or advertised, but it is very special. It is a two-story former (very old) firehouse...it is small, but it is packed with wonderful historical items from the Portland Fire Department's brave history. Go online or call to check...More

The Museum has some very old fire trucks. The Museum use to be a fire house with horse drawn equipment. If you are enterested in the fire service you will enjoy the Museum.
