From a matron of honor's perspective, Jones Landing is overall a nice wedding venue.. with some site / logistic issues. One of the few wedding spots on Peaks Island, so worth it if you are set on having your wedding on the island.
We attended a wedding here and loved it! Beautiful location which made the wedding that much more special. All of the staff were great. The bartenders were quick and friendly. The serving staff were great too. Food was hit and miss but that's to be...More
Fun, but dirty. Not sure why they check ID and then let families in with young kids. The carpet is pretty gross, the bathroom situation is limited. BUT the music was good and staff was friendly. Not sure if we would go back.

Reggae Sunday was on the top of my lists to do on the weekends when I lived in Portland. Cool ocean breezes, sitting on the deck listening to awesome live music - a little dancing. Wonderful and fun fulled afternoons!

Good Reggae band and music, nice ride out on the Casco Bay Ferry. Mostly college-age crowd and most were well-behaved.
Major complaint: DRINKS are extremely watered-down. I had a VooDoo ($5) and thought it would last me the afternoon - I'm a rather "light weight"...More
