The beach is located a short walk from the light. we strolled down and walked the beach and rocks. It does not offer a view back to the light, but there are several picnic tables and some nice views of the water.
There were many cars parked along the road because the gate was down and you couldn't drive in. It was early October, no reason for the park to shut the gates. The walk to the beach wasn't hard, a bit of a hill.

We walked along the rocky. pebbly beach finding beautiful rocks and small sculpted pieces of driftwood. In the woods above the mosquitoes were enjoying snacking on my delicate skin while my wife was bug free as they were all on me !!
