We sang Beethoven's Missa Solemnis here; the acoustics are superb. And the basilica, inside and out is grandly beautiful, with architectural details one does not usually find in our country. Worth coming to see even if you do not plan to worship here.

My whole family received their first communion and confirmations there. The interior offers spectacular murals and beautiful art. A must to visit if traveling through Lewiston Maine.

We were attending the annual GF Balloon Festival in Lewiston and they ran a shuttle service to the Saints Peter & Paul Basilica for guided tours. The tour was enjoyable and informative.
