Quick stop in Kittery

This information center is as quiet and boring as any I could ever imagine. It is SO small and lame.

This stop is one of the best ever. All of the tourist information you could ever need plus staff who clearly like their job and the people stopping by. Clean rest rooms a real plus!!

We live in Maine, about and hour from the Piscataqua River Bridge.....I am always a bit sad when leaving Maine, and love it when we cross back into Maine safely. It is a non-negotiable that we stop at this rest stop. First it is Maine...More

My wife and I stopped here on our trek north into Maine and picked up some literature, talked with staff, and used the facilities. This place is pristine!

This is an excellent Visitor Information Center - increasingly rare as states foolishly shut highway rest areas and information centers. All the information on Maine attractions, accommodations and restaurants you could need, plus clean washrooms. Staff are well-informed, too. Plus after many years of stopping...More

Beautiful grounds and facility. Helpful, friendly staff. Lots of people when we were here but managed to get some useful information. Enjoyed more than just a rest area. Good first experience in Maine.

I walked into the building and was there over 10 minutes and no one came out to greet me. I could here people talking in the office, Not a very welcoming feeling at all.

The staff was a wealth of knowledge not just handing out pamphlets. I felt they added from personal experience so the information was more in depth. Clean and orderly.

WOW! That sounds exciting - I love Django and Stephan. I'm afraid I don't know about this event. Kittery is a long way from home. It would be a blast to go to a Gypsy Jazz festival though.:) Good Luck!
