Parking is along the road, and you must have a parking permit which can be purchased at the general store. However, a parking permit is not required after 6pm. We arrived late in the afternoon just to take a walk along the water. The beach...More
We were given a suggestion to go to Goose Rocks beach by the staff at our hotel. If going, you need to stop at a general store & purchase a parking pass. Parking is along the road of the beach. You will need to bring...More
We love Goose Rock Beach. The beach is clean, lots of open areas and when the tides is down there's lots to explore. Great for the family. Only downside is there's no bathroom onsite, or else I would have given it 5 starts.
just walked around and took drone footage. beautiful to look at the beach houses and New England style architecture and hotels. even though it may be cold, still go and walk on the beach. Dogs are everywhere!

Stroll out to the island at low tide, take a walk over to the River, or just enjoy the white sand beaches and calm shallows of GRB. Plenty of space for beach games like Spike Ball, this is a perfect place for family and friends
We were there off season so it was fine while we were there….but I think we read on a Maine travel website that dogs are allowed before 8:00am and after 6:00pm during beach going season. It's a lovely beach! Have fun!
