So far out in the harbor you can not really see clearly. Parking is difficult. It is scenic, but at the end of the day, just another lighthouse.

Very nice, but better lighthouse scenery in other areas like Two Lights and Portland Head Lights. This is certainly picturesque, though. Bring a long zoom lens.

Viewing from shore is difficult. It is out in the harbor a good distance, so bring your telephoto lens or binoculars.

Drove out to see lighthouse. Knew we would only be able to view from a distance. I think you can take a boat tour to get closer. Cape porpoise harbor is very quaint and worth the drive out to see and eat on the harbor.

We came from Oklahoma mainly to see lighthouses and followed our GPS to see many of them along the southern coast including taking two boat tours. Like others, we wound all over the small beach town to find this one on a little point next...More

Great views of the lighthouse from the lookout or by walking down the dock. Easy to get to and not crowded.

The area is pretty cool but the lighthouse is pretty remote. If you drive up to Portland, there are much better lighthouse viewings. Parking here is also very limited.

I believe next year there will be an Eco Tour, New England EcoAdventures, that will be giving tours.
