Camden solved its library space needs in a most unique way- by building underground. They have maintained the simple beauty of the original building while providing a great library space. Worth a visit!

The amphitheater alone is enough to make me think and dream all day long. The library, rebuilt, or should I say built anew, is magnificent classical architecture. The first floor is a huge round reaading and stack space, the second floor contains a historian of...More

My sister and I stopped in here randomly to cool down and unwind before our sunset sailing. It was very beautiful and sunny inside.

Not only is the library a beautiful little treasure, but the grounds are immaculate and the view of Camden harbour is worth the stop.

What a beautiful building. 3 stories of well laid out bookshelves, quiet nooks to curl up with the newspaper or a book and the view of the harbor from the grounds can't be beat.

This library was celebrating it's 90th anniversary. The architecture is worth checking out, especially how the new addition on the lawn incorporated light into the reception area.

This library is lovely. It just celebrated its 90th year of being opened. The expansion that happened in 1996 has created two additional floors. It's a beautiful place for a picnic or to just have a seat and look over the harbor.

This was a delightful building were you could sit and read any book from the library. There was a wonderful dome with stained glass inside, which was very beautiful.

This library is a showstopper. The Architecture and stonework on this building is amazing, and the grounds are meticulously kept.
