Several beautifully kept trails that are extremely well marked. Porter's Preserve was the favorite as it went along the water and in several areas offered vistas to go out for views into the harbor on the rocks.

We hiked the Linekin trail. Great hike, some easy & some challenging if you are looking for variation. The trail goes both through the woods & by the harbor. Terrific hike, 2 hours at good pace.

This preserve provides us with a lovely opportunity for a walk in the woods. It’s was very pleasant— not crowded. We didn’t see much wildlife but we also weren’t really searching. Trails could be better marked but otherwise was nice.

Thanksgiving Morning, Cool and Crisp, 2,4 miles a great hike anytime. White trail has a few confusing spots but no one got lost. A good time.

The owners of the bed and breakfast where we were staying told us about the walking trails and we decided to give one a try. Porter's Preserve was absolutely lovely. It was a beautiful walk, not too difficult, but very scenic. Took about an hour.

My wife and I had a GREAT time hiking through the Porter Preserve. Such a beautiful place for a leisurely walk, with lots of vistas and benches to stop and take it all in. This place is truly a gem.

We had several hikes in BRLT preserves. Porter was our favorite. Great ocean views. Oven's Mouth was also quite beautiful. All the preserves were well marked with clear trails. These hikes are the best way we found to appreciate the beauty of the region. .

They do have a nice wide .5 mile loop mulch trail at Penny Lake which would be fine for a stroller. It has a bridge along the trail that offers a view of the lake with benches for snacking and resting a bit.

No, there is no camping allowed on Damariscove Island. Day use only; no campfires are allowed. All Boothbay Region Land Trust preserves are open dawn to dusk year round.
