This most elegant, historic house is an absolute must if you enjoy beautiful Adams architecture on a large scale. The elegance and quality is a sheer delight. Imagine having gates only used for Royal visits while you enjoy morning tea in The Stables cafe.

Stables restaurant advertised as being open until 4.30 pm but we were turned away just after 4 pm and told it was closed....not a warm welcome!

The history associated with this stunning building is incredible. The house is in amazing condition and the gardens are beautiful. The staff were very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

yes you can view the outside of the house and grounds without paying an entrance fee
