I have been on other plantation tours and this one was just average. I was irked that we couldn't see daughters' rooms because someone was in them. Having cottages out back is one thing, but they shouldn't be renting out rooms in the house that...More

We were the only two on our plantation tour and we got our money's worth. Donovan was our guide and he was knowledgeable and entertaining. Really worth the trip.

Wonderful antique furniture from Civil War Era overlooking Mississippi River, beautiful architecture; the crown molding was outstanding and the entire Mansion and out buildings were breathtaking.

Since most if not all of the plantation tours and visits end by 5pm (some of them by 3pm) it was very convenient that we could take a self guided tour after 5 and then drive back to NOLA. All plantations are different. This one...More

Well they sell it as the largest plantation left and that may be, but you don't see very much. To begin with it was freezing out and they left us outside to wait for the tour to begin. They finally let us in, and then...More

Very nice plantation, as well as educational. Would recommend bringing students here on a class trip. Also nice for weddings and other formal events.
