In the rain, I paid an admission fee of 170 pesos for a 10-minute tour.
It's nocturnal, so it was just resting under the leaves, but it's nice to see these animals.
The staff in some places will give you a camera and take a picture.
I gave him a little tip in return.
I bought a souvenir at the exit kiosk and left.
The price was lower than other souvenir shops.

The place is smaller than expected and was quite crowded when we visited, which took away from the experience. At 170 PHP per person, it felt a bit pricey for what it offers. We ended up spending only about 15 minutes there.

there are at least two locations to see tarsier in Bohol
1. Corella: Philippines Tarsier Sanctuary
2. Bilar: Tarsier Conservation Area

this review is about #2, compared to #1

#2 is more commercialized, and many tour groups bring tourists here. tour in the grounds is self guided. you will also see more tarsiers here and have better quality sighting, because there is a fence around the grounds, preventing tarsier from wandering too far away every night and therefore creating an unnatural tarsier movement pattern.

there is also a Bohol Bee Farm ice cream outlet (90 php per scoop) by the entrance

Admission is 175 pesos per person. You'll walk around the park in 20-25 minutes, but you'll see tiny longhorns sleeping on branches. Weighing an average of 150-180 grams, their eyes do not turn, but they can rotate their heads 180 degrees. They have active hours at night, so you can see them sleeping rather than jumping on branches. Nice sight, didn't regret coming.

They are just so cute. You must come see the tarsiers. We came by bus so we wouldn't be rushed. It's about 100 peso each for the bus from Tagbilaran.
There are some big stairs in the tarsier area so be careful.
There's no specific guide, you just follow where everyone is standing.
There is a place where you can give him your phone to take pics up close to a tarsier for a donation. Some gave money others didn't. We decided 50 peso was good.
The gift shop is amazing, so many souvenirs from 20 peso.
Pity they don't have clip on tasiers or a hair clip, would have bought those as well.
Bohol bee farm icecream outside, delicious.

The reserve is a small park inhabited by very cute creatures of the longhorn or as they are called tarsiers in their natural habitat. Nursery area is well maintained with a paved tourist route. During the tour of the reserve you need to keep quiet, long-spotted night residents, during the day they sleep. Photography is allowed only without the use of a flash. While walking around the kennel, we saw several members of these wonderful animals lurking under the leaves. They belong to the dry-nosed monkey family, and are the smallest species. They have elongated leg and toe bones on their forelimbs and hindlimbs. From this feature comes their name.

I booked a trip to Bohol primarily to see the Tarsiers at the conservation area. Reading other reviews, I hope this is really a true conservation area and not just a place for tourists to get photos. I know tarsiers get stressed easily, the ones here seemed fine. Although I am not a fan of bothering them during the day, especially people with families who are noisy. I did learn a lot about the tarsiers. We need to do more for conservation, not only here but everywhere.

Here are my thoughts:

1. There’s really nothing much to do here but search for the tarsier.

2. Probably what’s exciting is you get to see them in real life and if you’re lucky, you get to see them awake because they’re nocturnal creatures.

3. You get excited once you see one in the flesh but that’s about it.

4. There’s no other form of entertainment here except photo opportunities.

5. Maybe they could add an activity where they can tell the history of the tarsier in an interactive way.

Overall, one visit is enough.

What a special experience getting up close and personal with the endangered tariser. This venue is one of the quietest places we have visited. Our mandatory guide was exceptional in making sure we had some quality time with the tarsiers, and in explaining their quirky lifestyles. The visitors centre itself is very run down and in desperate need of investment.

Located on the main road from the city, the bus cost 30 pesos each... You then need to walk about 500m or so to the sanctuary. Paid a small fee of 80 pesos each and were shown around the sleeping Tarsiers by a guide in the surrounding forest. Was a beautiful experience.
